Boutique hotel interior package (guest rooms + public areas)
Interior design and contracting of guest rooms, lobby, lounge and food & beverage areas for a small boutique hotel concept. The brief seeks to create memorable guest experiences through layered materials, tactile detailing and efficient service planning—prioritizing guest comfort, durability of finishes and straightforward housekeeping routines. The package includes room typologies, lighting schemes, FF&E selection and public area design to form a cohesive hospitality narrative.
PROJECT CONCEPT
The concept crafts a human-scaled hospitality experience where each touchpoint is deliberately composed to feel both intimate and distinctive. Guest rooms use a restrained material palette—textured fabrics, warm timber accents and durable engineered surfaces—to create calm retreats. Public areas (lobby, lounge, small bar/restaurant) are designed as social stages: a gracious arrival sequence, varied seating arrangements for different group sizes and strong focal elements that act as memory anchors. Back-of-house and service circulation are resolved to minimize staff travel and maximize turnaround efficiency. Lighting is layered to shift mood from daytime warmth to soft evening ambience, and finishes are specified for heavy usage while allowing targeted aesthetic accents that convey character without complicating maintenance.
- Distinctive yet maintainable room typologies.
- Strong public-area moments to drive guest experience.
- Housekeeping-friendly detailing and durable finishes.
